Verdi Records

VERDI RECORDS  was created as a response to the increasing  and frustrating failure of the music industry  towards music makers, and the musicians community .  The alarming increase of Artificial Intelligence,  and so called  "robotic music" or music made by algorithms and  super computers have become a serious concern to many humans & real music makers. 

Verdi was originally Founded on the neighborhoods of Southern California. Nowadays we are wherever a human being wants to be part of real music making. 

Our name came up as a reference to the color Green  in italian and also as a tribute to the word Veritas that in Latin means Truth.   We love, forests, jungles,  nature, & green mentality.  

Therefore, we combined both words and our meaning is  "True Green"  or  "True to Nature"   We believe in music made by humans, and  in the process of creating music involving the human nature.

We are Time travelers, music nerds, music collectors,  ghost writers, and simple, imperfect human beings.   we love music and we work with different genres and musical styles. including Punk Rock, Alternative Rock, Reggae, Trip Hop, Electro, Heavy Metal, Hip Hop, Blues, Progressive Rock,  Jazz,  Film music, Ambient and others.   Yeah, We still  use analog recorders, rack outboard gear and mixing consoles.
